The Balanced Animal
equine services include sports massage
and acupressure.
Before beginning to work
with a horse for the first time, Kellee
conducts a Pre-Session Assessment,
analyzing the horse’s muscle tone for
strength, flexibility and vitality and
looking for any places that may be stiff
or sore. This assessment is an
important first step in putting together
a program for your horse. Kellee
provides a Session Summary that details
her recommendations.

Sports Massage
Sports massage can help both active and
inactive horses with general muscle
stiffness as well as stiffness from
specific activities. It can also help
relieve pre-performance anxiety,
post-performance let down and improve
general health. Each session lasts
60-75 minutes.
Acupressure
Acupressure uses fingers instead of
needles to access energy pathways
throughout the body. These pathways
include points that help influence the
energy flow throughout the body.
Acupressure can help both physical and
behavioral issues, relieve pain and
stiffness, build a horse’s immune system
and enhance mental and emotional clarity
and focus. This session lasts between
45-60 minutes. |
